Sophie is awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal

Sophie Roman studies the fundamental processes required for underground CO2 storage and the remediation of underground soils. She is a pioneer in the use of microfluidics tools applied to the geosciences—tools that are typically used in chemistry and biomedicine.
The Bronze Medal recognizes early work by researchers who have established themselves as experts in their fields. This award serves as an encouragement from the CNRS to continue research that is well underway and already yielding fruitful results.
Congratulations on this well-deserved award!
