SUMMARY:Seminar Sophie Decrée
DESCRIPTION:Apatite in Europe: recent updates from EU projects\n\nPhosphate rock was included in the list of critical raw materials (CRMs) for the EU in 2014. Fluorine (F) and rare earth elements (REE) are additional CRMs that can be extracted from phosphate deposits. Although apatite deposits and occurrences are widespread across Europe\, there is still a notable lack of understanding regarding their genesis and potential for CRM extraction. Recent projects have contributed to advancing knowledge in these areas. This presentation will provide some insights into these findings.\n\nGP Mineral Systems\n
